Mr. Augusta Medion, funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Jackson Central Christ Church 226 Whitfield Street, Jackson, MS at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be Friday, April 13, 2018 from 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Willis and Sons Funeral Home, Inc., 5235 Robinson Road Ext., Jackson, MS. Interment: Autumn Woods Memorial Garden Cemetery, Jackson, MS.
Obituary
Auugust Medion was born November 21, 1938 in Copiah County, Mississippi. He departed this life to his Lord and Savior on April 7, 2018 at Cottage Grove Nursing Home in Jackson, Mississippi.
Augusta began his Christian journey at an early age at Egypt Hill Baptist Church; he later became a member of Jackson Central Christ Church.
In addition to his parents, Augusta is preceded in death by: Marquita Johnson; one brother and four sisters.
Augusta leaves to cherish his memories: a loving sister, Thelma McKennis of Jackson, Mississippi and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
