Obituary

Charles Earl Dear was born in Jackson, Mississippi on August 5, 1960.  He spent his whole life in Jackson.

He attended Jackson Public Schools.  After leaving school, he attended Job Corp, where he studied automotive painting and body work.  He worked as a Sheetrock and finisher specialist.  Charles was a loyal and dedicated worker.

He loved his family, neighbors and community.  He was always eager and ready to help anyone in need, especially the elderly.  You could always count on that big smile to make everything okay.

His departure from this life was unexpected and very painful for the ones that he left behind.  However, those we love don't really go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, always near, still loved, still missed and very dear.

Charles was preceded in death by: his father, Clearance Dear; mother, Dorothy Dear; brother, James Dear; and a sister, Bobbie Dear.

Charles leaves to cherish his memories: Sisters, Ethel Dear, Jackie Dear, Linda Dear and Joyce Dear; brothers, Arthur Dear and Curtis Dear; nieces and nephews, Mekia, Gayla, Rushanda, Kenyetta, Big Shun, Fred, Jr., Marcus, Jarvis, Tony and Wayne; a host of cousins, including Kevin Taylor, other relatives and friends.
