Obituary
Our beloved brother, Charles Henry (aka Pete) Thompson was born August 6, 1954, in Edwards, Mississippi to the late Joyce Mack Thompson and Henry Lomax. He confessed Christ at an early age, with the guidance of his grandparents, Emma and Hudson Byrd, alone with a loving auntie, Thelma (Doll) Thompson Little.
Charles was educated in the Hinds County School System. After leaving high school Charles moved to Chicago, Illinois and there he resided until his calling to meet his Heavenly Father on July 1, 2018 at 11:59 a.m. in the quietness of his home. Charles and his final talk with God and God opened His arms and received another angel to beautify His rose garden.
Charles was preceded in death by: his parents, Joyce Mack Thompson and Henry Lomax; sister, Hazel Lee Thompson; grandparents, Emma (Too Too) and Hudson (Chicken) Byrd.
Charles leaves to cherish his precious memories: his sister, Willie Mae Mack Sampson of Raymond, Mississippi; brother, Johnny Mack Jr. and Herman Ray Mack of Edwards, Mississippi, Earl Lee (Avele Lee) Mack, Sr, of Saginaw, Michigan and Ell Jay (aka L.J.) Thompson of Forest, Mississippi; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.
