Mr. Eugene Wells, Jr. age 90 years, of Jackson, MS died June 11, 2016 at Ridgeland Hospice Center.
Funeral Services will be held at Pine Grove MB Church in Jackson, MS Saturday June 18, 2016 at
12:00 Noon. Visitation will be Friday June 17, 2016 from 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Willis and Sons Funeral Home. For any additional information call Willis and Sons Funeral Home.

Obituary
Eugene "Hoss" Wells, Jr., was born October 23, 1925 to Eugene Wells, Sr., and Mary Lee Scott in rural Hinds County, Mississippi. At an early age he confessed Christ, baptized and united with Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dan Hill. On the evening of June 11, 2016, Eugene our father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend bid his last farewell and went home to be with his Heavenly Father.
After serving in the U. S. Army he married the love of his life, Hattie Lee Knotts and to this union (13) children were born. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Mary; his wife Hattie; three sons: Lee Samuel, Curtis and Michael; two brothers: Gene and Porter Wells; one sister, Polly Ann Wells Hodge.
Eugene loved landscaping and worked for Barnes Brothers Nursery for a number of years and later transferred to Barry Landscape until his retirement. He was also a member of St. Paul Loge 343.
Eugene Wells leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters: Delores and Loretta; eight sons: Willie Lee (Brenda), Alexander (Minnie), Lewis, Sr. (Josie), Allen (Joyce), David (Josephine), Tommy, Sr. (Jimmie), Jimmy (Katrina), Donald, Sr. (Vickey); two daughters-in-laws, Magnolia and Jacqueline; one brother: Cardoza (Lottie); three sisters: Eva Mae Manuel, Bernice Manuel, and Dessie Garner; twenty eight grandchildren, forty eight great-grandchildren, nineteen great-great grandchildren; one brother-in-law, one sister-in-law; six special adoptive sons: Calvin Thompson, Bennie Gaultney, Louis Clincy, Bobby Earl Crump, Buster Caldwell, Vincent Miggins and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
