Mr. Wells will be laid to rest Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Christ Temple Holiness Church in Jackson, MS.   His services will begin at 12:00 p.m.  Committal will be at Autumn Woods Memorial Garden Cemetery Jackson,  MS. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Willis and Sons Funeral Home.

Obituary

Mr. Anthony Wells (Pee Wee, Big Mike, Big Dog, The Gentle Giant) was born December 6, 1964 to Mr. Eugene Wells and the late Mrs. Hattie Knott Wells in Hinds County, Mississippi.

Michael was the 12th child of 13 children and the 11th son.  His mother an two brothers proceeded him in death.  He attended Clinton Public Schools and graduated from Clinton High School in 1982.  He received his associate degree from Hinds Jr. College in meat merchandising, and was a butcher for 32 years.

Michael accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church then later moved his membership to Cynthia Church of Christ (Holiness) USA.  His dedicated services included but not limited to :  Trustee Board, Males Choir Vice President, a member of the Sanctuary Choir, Brotherhood Ministry and Sunday School.  Michael was on trial to become a deacon and would have been crowned in January, 2015.

Michael married the love of his life and best friend, Jacqueline D. Graham on December 26, 1987

He enjoyed drag racing, college and professional football, and fishing.  Michael was one of the best cooks in the Southern States.  He was called on for a lot of occasions, banquets, reunions, birthdays, and weddings to serve up his specialties. 

He leaves to cherish his memory:   his devoted wife, Jacqueline Graham Wells;  two sisters, Delores and Loretta; eight brothers, Willis Lee (Brenda), Alexander (Minnie), Lewis (Josie), Allen (Joyce), David (Josephine), Tommy, (Jimmie), Jimmy (Katrina), Donald, Sr. (Vickey); one sister-in-law, Jane Graham Crowner; One brother-in-law, Cornic (Delislie) Graham; thirty-five nieces and nephews, fifty-six great nieces and nephews, Nineteen great-great nieces and nephews, fifteen aunts, eight uncles, five Godchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
