She confessed her belief in Christ and joined Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church.  She later moved her membership to Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church.  At a young age, Donna moved to Detroit, Michigan and attended Guest Middle School and Cooley High School.  She completed her studies back in Mississippi at Hinds County Agricultural High School class of 1991 and Jackson State University, receiving her bachelor degree with the class 2003.

She was united in holy matrimony to Kelvin Stamps on May 24, 1997.  Th this union four children were born.

She served faithfully on the board of Jackson-Hinds Comprehensive Health and with Mississippi Center for legal Services.  Donna also dedicated her every breath to #GirlTrek in Edwards, Mississippi, and became captain of the Edwards Chapter of #InspiredNotTired.    She also served as a member of the 2006-2007 Parent Leadership Institute Class where she became PPSJ Certified Parent Leader.

She went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 14, 2016 while enjoying her passion.  She always stated that walking gave her a one on one with the Lord.
