Mrs. Myles will be laid to rest Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Wilson Grove Baptist Church, 985 Cox Ferry Rd , Flora, MS.   Her services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Committal will be at Wilson Grove Church Cemetery, Flora MS.   Visitation will be on Friday, April 15, 2016 at Willis and Sons Funeral Home  from 1:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., family present 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Obituary 

A Time To Be Born:  Mary E. (Singleton) Myles was born, April 20, 1952 in Madison County, Mississippi.  The fourth of six children born to the late Lucille and Abe Singleton Sr.

A Time To Die:  In the early morning hours of April 7, 2016, around 5:00 a.m., with her loving son at her bed side.  The angel of mercy visited her at the Baptist Hospital.

A Time To Plant:  At an early age, Mary confessed her faith in Jesus Christ and was baptized at Good Samaritan Missionary Baptist Church under the Leadership of Reverend Cecil Smith and later moved her membership to Wilson Grove Missionary Baptist Church where she remained a member until her death.  Mary received her early education at East Flora High School where she graduated in May 1970.  She later attended Utica Jr. College in Utica, Mississippi for two years before entering the workforce.  Her last place of employment was at Hunter Engineering Company in Raymond, Mississippi until her health began to fail her.

A Time To Love:  In April 1972 she was united in holy matrimony to Eddie Myles.  To this union one child was born, Tyrone E Myles.

A Time To Mourn:  Mary leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memories:  one son, Tyrone E. Myles; two brothers, Frederick S. Singleton of Flora, Mississippi and George W. Singleton (Ora) of Canton, Mississippi;  two aunts, Annie Bell Jackson of Germantown, Maryland and Lillian Jones of New York;  two special friends, Mattie Hambrick of Flora, Mississippi and Joyce Ellis of Jackson, Mississippi; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

One sister, Dorothy M Smith and three brothers, James E. Pleasant, Abe Singleton, Jr. and Jerry Lynn Singleton preceded her in death.
