Mrs. Shelia Renee' Vaughan Shaffer age 44 of Yazoo City, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017 at Pleasant Grove M. B. Church, 951 Hwy 433 South, Bentonia, MS at 1:00 p.m.  Visitation will be Thursday   August 24, 2017 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Pleasant Grove M. B. Church, Bentonia, MS. Interment at Pleasant Grove M. B. Church Cemetery.

Obituary

-A TIME TO BE BORN-
Mrs. Shelia Renee' Vaughan Shaffer, the daughter of Minus and Martha Vaughan, was born August 6, 1973 in Jackson, Mississippi.  She was the oldest child born to the union.

-A TIME TO BE EDUCATED
Shelia began her education journey at Gibbs Elementary School.  She graduated from Forest Hill High School, Jackson, MS in 1991.  In 2006, she graduated from Belhaven College with a Bachelor's Degree in Business.

-A TIME TO BEGIN HER CHRITIAN JOURNEY-
Shelia accepted Christ at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. J. H. Johnson on August 18, 1983.  Shelia also served under the leadership of Rev. Charles I. Bradley.  Shelia loved  singing and served as a faithful member of the,  Health & Wellness Ministry, Choir, she was a Deaconess.

-A TIME TO LOVE-
On June 25, 1992, Shelia married the love of her life, Cailton N. Shaffer, II.  To this union two children were born:  Cailton Norwood Shaffer, III and Cameron Lake Shaffer.  Shelia had a genuine love for Christ and her family.

-A TIME TO WORK- 
As a career woman, Shelia was employed at K-mart, Dillard's, Delphi Packard Electric, and as a supervisor at Young Williams Child Support Call Center.  Shelia was also very dedicated to the family business and served as the executive secretary for many years at Shaffer-Collins Funeral Home.

-A TIME TO MOURN-
Our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend transitioned from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi.  Surrounded by family and friends she answered the call from her earthly home to her heavenly home. 

-A TIME TO CHERISH-
Shelia leaves to cherish her loving memories:  a devoted and loving husband:  Cailton Norwood Shaffer, II; four children:  Cailton Shaffer, III, Cameron Shaffer, and Talyn Shaffer of Bentonia, MS and Iesha Williams of Florence, KY;  one grandchild, Aryel Burdett of Florence, KY; parents, Minus Vaughan, Sr. and Martha Vaughan of Bentonia, MS; mother-in-law, Wilma Styles Shaffer; grandmother, Christine (Nancy) Wilkerson; two brothers, Minus (Patricia) Vaughan, Jr. of Markham IL, and Michael (Lisa) Vaughan of South Holland, IL; two sisters, Maxine Vaughan of Calumet City IL, and LaShondra Monique Vaughan of Bentonia, MS; twelve uncle; Roy Vaughan of Los Angeles, CA, Johnny Earl and Prentiss (Dorothy) Vaughan, of Yazoo City, William Vaughan of Carson, CA, Herbert Vaughan of Harbor City, CA, Jimmy Vaughan of Richton Park, IL, Joseph Vaughan of Bentonia, MS Henry Edward Vaughan of South Haven, MI, Johnnie L. and Shelton (Helena) Ingram of St. Paul, MN, Felton (Diane) Ingram of Flora, MS, and Herman (Fannie Mae) Ingram of Clinton, MS; seven aunts: Gloria Stean Ellis of Bentonia, MS Dorothy Thomas, Margaret Ingram, and Mary Ingram of St. Paul, MN, Willie Mae Boone of Ovedia, FL, Peggy Ann Ingram of Flora, MS, and Gracie B. Fortson Walters of Detroit, MI; two brothers-in-law, Averial, Sr. (Shundria), and Gregory, Sr. (Keshia); eight nephews: Adrian, Minus III, Michael II, Matthew, Kendrick, Gregory II, Gabriel, Graelen, and Averial II; nine nieces:  Nicole, Michaela, Kayla, Anya, Alethea, Kirsten, Vernesha, Nasya, and Nyaah; four Godchildren:  Lavonne and LaShun Roman, Skylar Purvis and Selwyn Ware; special cousins, Kathie Collins, Dana Vaughan and Jo-Jo Vaughan; four special friends:  Angela Brown, Christy Patterson, Antina Wilkerson, and Wendy Grayer; and a host of great-nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
