Obituary
I grew up in the town of Edwards, MS and accepted Christ as my Savior at an early age under the leadership of Dr. Rev. M. K. Nelson. It was there at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church where I first found my passion for singing/music. After relocation to Jackson, MS, I decided to join in membership with New Horizon Church International, under the pastoral care of Bishop Ronnie Crudup Sr., whom I love like a father.
I spent my early years of education at Edwards Attendance Center. In May of 1996 I graduated a proud Raymond Ranger. I then continued my studies at Hinds Community College in Raymond, MS; gaining a degree in music. After which time, I attended the Allied Nursing Center in Jackson, MS and received my Bachelor of Science degree. Let's keep it moving. I received my Master degree and was shy 3 months of receiving my PhD. In 2009 I gain employment with the Sonny Montgomery VA Hospital where I served faithfully until my departure. I currently held the position of Administrative Management Assistant. I loved being in the position which allowed me to do what I do best "love people." I was a member of countless numbers of community, church, and school organizations.
I loved life and lived each day as if it was my last one and so should you. Music and singing were the joy of my life. I thank God for giving me the opportunity to give Him praise through my singing. However, my time here expired and now I'm in Heaven signing in the "Angelic" choir.
On Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 6:13 a.m. upon my arrival in Heaven, several of my loved ones met me rejoicing. I'm in the presence of God with my maternal great grandparents, Frank (Sarah) Singleton, my paternal great grandparents, Mahatma (Lizzie) Liddell, my maternal great grandfather, Samuel Richardson, my paternal grandparents, Amos (Bertha) Liddell and Thomas Alexander, my great aunt, Ester Robinson, my great uncles Alex Singleton and Willie J. Richardson, uncle Tyrone Liddell, and other loved ones and friends. It's so nice to see everyone again!
