Obituary
Sister Jamie Blanch Griffin was born into the world that God created on June 12, 1925 in Learned, Mississippi. She was the daughter of the late Ben Williams and Mandy Allen Williams. She was added to the Body of Christ in 1958 at the Figueroa Church of Christ in Los Angeles, California and was a faithful member until she relocated back to Mississippi where she placed membership with the Tinnin Road Church of Christ.
Sister Griffin worked in many capacities while attending the Figueroa Church of Christ. Her favorite service to God was working and serving on the Food Committee at Figueroa Church of Christ.
She married Roy Griffin in 1951 and they moved to Los Angeles, California shortly thereafter. To this union no children were born.
Sister Griffin passed from this life on Monday, June 18, 2018 at the Clinton Health Center in Clinton, Mississippi. Sister Jannie was preceded in death by: her husband, Roy; brothers, Lewis Williams, Dewitt Williams, and Andrew Williams; sisters, Ella Williams, Josephine Jacobs, Nette Jacobs, Helen Graves, Grace Williams, and Irene Williams and special nephew, James Graves.
Words cannot reveal or express how much Sister Jannie will be missed. However, Her memory will live eternally in the hearts of her family (A host of nieces, nephews, friends and a very special niece-in-law, Clotie Graves).
