Obituary

Morris Beb Garner, was born on November 5, 1959 in Hinds County to the late Sylvester Garner, Sr. and Doretha Clincy Garner.

Morris confessed at an early age his love for Christ and united with Baker's Grove M. B. Church under the leadership of Rev. W.W. Warren.  Morris' love for God's people was often demonstrated for the acts of love that was reflected in his giving of his time and resources for his parents during their illness.  He always was there to look out for the health of his sister Regina and for others in need.  His motto was "If I can help somebody, as I pass along, if I pass along, if I can cheer up somebody , with a word or song, then mu living shall not be in vain"

Morris was a 1977 graduate of Summer Hill High School and furthered his education at Hinds Community College.  He worked many years in the service industry where he excelled in various professions including the culinary arts, interior design and floral design.

After Morris transitioned his life June 4, 1998,  he evolved from his former self into the beautiful swan known to many as Miss Tracey Lynn Garner.   Tracey's life was creatively orchestrated and designed by her faith and willingness to serve as a trailblazer because she believed in living life to the fullest.  Tracey pursued perfection in her crafts.  She was known for her extremely creative designs for weddings,  receptions and Christmas.  Her artistic skills couldn't be matched nor duplicated by anyone.  She often referred to herself as a beautiful swan waiting to gain her wings.  Tracey gained her wings on Sunday,  January 14, 2018 at 5:56 a.m.,  Merit Health Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi.

Tracey was preceded in death by her parents, along with her daughter Carol Lureka Pugh; two of her brothers Solomon Garner and Harry Garner.

She leaves to cherish her memory a special, loving dedicated sister and brother Dorothy Regina (Eugene)  Williams and Sylvester (Sherri) Garner, Jr.; sister Ruby Jean Lee and brother Gregory (Dorothy) Green; sister-in-law Law Lavern Garner; two (2) aunts Hattie Garner Miller and Malinda Garner; a life-longe friend Dr. Charles R. Husband and  daughter, Simone Husband; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews,  cousins and friends.
