​Mrs. Victoria Wilson-Bush,  funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at St. Paul MB Church 5608 Smith Station Rd, Edward , MS at 1:00 p.m., Ms. Wilson will repose in the church at 12:00 noon until services time. Visitation will be Friday, November 23, 2018  from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p. m. at Willis and Sons Funeral Home 5235 Robinson Rd Ext., Jackson MS.   Interment: St. Paul MB Church Cemetery, Edwards, MS.

Obituary

Victoria "Lucy" Wilson Bunch was born April 22,1928, in Hinds Country, Mississippi, to the late Mr. John and Claudia Boyd Wilson. Victoria was preceded in death by her parents; five siblings, Oscar Wilson Sr., J.W. Wilson, Lillian "Joe" Kyles, Andrew "A.J." Wilson, and Rella Wilson Turner; a son, Deacon Archie "Man" Wilson; and one grandson, Detrick "Perm" Wilson.

At an early age, Victoria accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized into the St Paul Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend C.L. West. She was a devoted and dedicated member and served in many capacities for more than 70 years.

Victoria was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Ernest Bush.

She attended Rob Chichester School and St. Paul School. Following her education, she embarked on a career as a nurse assistant at Edwards Clinic for several years and then provided home care services until her retirement.

Victoria made her transition from labor to reward on Friday, November 16,2018 at approximately 5:15 a.m. at her home in Edwards, Mississippi surrounded by her family.

She leaves to cherish her memories: four daughters, Willie C. Wilson and Frankie Wilson, both of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Dora (Tyrone) Brown and Carolyn (Herman) Foster, both of Edwards, Mississippi; twenty-one grandchildren; forty-four great grandchildren; three special sons, Deacon Rufus Williams of Edwards, Mississippi and Reverend Johnny Martin and Reverend Geroge Martin, both of Utica, Mississippi; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
